The other day in the car, we were discussing the new baby. Ella mentioned she would hold the baby crossing the street because the baby would be too little to crawl. Patrick had a question of his own:
Will the policeman give us a ticket if we leave the baby on the side of the road?
ME: Patrick, we would NEVER leave the baby on the side of the road.
Patrick: Yeah, but if we did, would the policeman give us a ticket?
Me: No, he would not give us a ticket.
(Maybe haul us off to jail, but no ticket)

So interesting the questions kids ask!
Too cute. Kids have such adorable thought processes. How are you feeling these days? Your time is getting close.
Oh, my goodness. That cracked me up!! It's so wierd isn't it? That they ask these things? Every once in a while, we'll be on our way out the door and one of the girls will ask, "Are we leaving Rose here?" WHY in THE WORLD would we do that, I wonder (and ask). Have we EVER LEFT any of our children? Ever? On the side of the road or otherwise?!? It's so bizarre and hilarious. You have to wonder if he's just testing out the "will I forever I have another baby sister" thing. :) Anyway...take care. Hope you're feeling well!
