Can You Believe It Was 73 Degrees This Morning?

So far it has dropped 40 degrees and temperature and the snow continues to fall. Has anyone else had this crazy weather?

What takes you back?
Right now I am listening to Jennifer Knapp, her Kansas CD. It takes me back to summers at Turkey Hill, rooming with Ruth, then Renes and Jean, then Malcolm. I listned to and belted out shamelessly this CD and Alison Kraus all summer(So sorry girls).Neither one was my CD but I bought both when the summer was over. Whenever I hear these CD's,(and they are both favorites) it takes me back to those hot summers. What a good time we had, how young we were, how much I have learned and lived since then. Ahhh, good times.

Please Pray for the Hauseman Family

Some of you will remember them from Memorial Day Camp at Turkey Hill. I think they have 7 or 8 children. Anyway, 4 of them were in a horrible car accident in Texas? coming back from visiting family. One was killed instantly, another is in a coma and will probably lose her vision and another has a broken jaw. As you can imagine, the parents are devastated and are on their way or already there in Texas. The parents names are Dave and Karen and I don't know all of the children's names. If someone else does, please share.Let's remember them in prayer as some things still hang in the balance. These are 4 of their children, 1 is more awful then we can imagine, but 4 is unthinkable. And we can thank God that at least one of the children is ok.Maybe if anyone has any updates, you can post them too.

73 Degrees in January?!

That's right, yesterday, Sunday was warm, warm, warm and wonderful! We took the kids to Lone Elk Park, where you can drive through and look at Bison and hike trails for an upclose and personal look at Elk. Or chase geese. We had a great time and even stopped in at the World Bird Sanctuary, love those Owls!

Catch Up Time

We had a wonderful, but busy Holiday. John,Ruth and Johnny were here and we had so much fun with them. We had Christmas pageants, Autumn turning 4 months and trips to the Property. Here are some of the hilights.
